VEHICLE TWO (THE 2013 DODGE VAN) STRUCK THE FRONT RIGHT CORNER OF VEHICLE ONE'S TRAILER CAUSING VEHICLE TWO TO SPIN COUNTER-CLOCKWISE INTO THE BACK OF VEHICLE ONE. DRIVER OF VEHICLE ONE WAS STANDING OUTSIDE OF HIS VEHICLE AT THE TIME OF IMPACT.

Police said the crash happened here: I40 EAST AT THE 179 MILE MARKER. The weather was clear and the road was dry.
