Shelby Rhodes Killed in a Crash on August 10, 2017 in Grant County, Arkansas

Shelby Rhodes of Sheridan, Arkansas was killed in a crash on Thursday, August 10th 2017 at 7:40 pm in Grant County, Arkansas. Rhodes is a 21-year-old woman.

VEHICLE TWO (THE 2008 FORD MUSTANG DRIVEN BY SHELBY RHODES) LOST CONTROL IN THE RAIN AND ENTERED INTO A COUNTER-CLOCKWISE ROTATION CROSSED THE CENTER TURN LANE CAUSING THE FRONT OF VEHICLE TWO TO STRIKE THE FRONT OF VEHICLE ONE (THE 2015 NISSAN ALTIMA). VEHICLE TWO EXITED THE ROADWAY COMING TO REST IN THE DITCH. DRIVER OF VEHICLE TWO WAS PRONOUNCED DECEASED AT THE SCENE BY GRANT COUNTY CORONER.

Police said the crash happened here: U.S. HWY 67 S/ SOUTH OF GRANT 14. The weather was rain and the road was wet.

The crash killed Rhodes. The body is held at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Sheridan. The police have notified Rhodes's family members of the death.
